These hybrids are selectively released for commercial cultivation in North, Central and South zone of India. These brand are known for its fiber quality, tolerance for sucking pest and yield potential under irrigated conditions.

GGSPL’s research Wheat Gold-21 and Gold-23 are leading products in the market. These Products are popular for their quality parameters for domestic purpose use of wheat, minimum requirement of irrigation and high market value. For further improvement in wheat, research is progress for genetic improvement of wheat for physical and quality parameters along with yield potential in collaboration with the University of Queensland. Also research efforts are going on for thermo insensitive and drought tolerance in wheat.

  • Quality control is an important part of Quality assurance which leads operational technique and activities that are used to satisfy Quality requirements. Green Gold Seeds are known by their quality. All the activities such as seed production and processing of seeds are done as per quality assurance norms through 1) Field inspection 2) Seed testing 3) Grow-out tests

Field inspection of various crop is undertaken by technically trained personal by maintaining isolation distance, timely roughing, harvesting and threshing etc. to make available high quality seeds to the farming community at reasonable rate. The GGSPL is having its own laboratory where seed testing in respect of moisture, physical purity, ODV and germination of seeds is being tested as per the ISTA rules.

The seed testing laboratory have been participated in inter-laboratory seed testing program with Govt. seed testing laboratory parbhani from 2013-14. Quality control wing also conducting grow-out test for all the crop irrespective of stages of seed to assess the genetic purity of every cultivar. Field staff working in quality control squad undertake periodical visits of seed processing plant and seed storage godown and suggest corrective steps if necessary to ensure the quality of seed.

  • Seed from fields which conformed to the prescribed standards at field stage and as soon as harvesting is completed the raw seed will be brought to the processing plant for further processing. Seed processing is essential to Dry the seeds to safe moisture label Remove or reduce the various undesirable material i.e. weed seed, damaged seed and other crop seeds as much as possible Ensure uniform size grading and seed treatment to upgrade overall seeds quality. Seed processing thus refers to all the step necessary for preparation of harvested seed for marketing, namely handling, drying, shelling, cleaning, size grading, treating and packaging The Processing plant is located at Narayanpur shivar waluj, Dist. Aurangabad. In addition to this contract Processing plants are located at Chikhali (Buldhana) and Shrirampur (A’Nagar) of Maharashtra, Ginning and delinting of cotton is being done at Bodeli and Idar of Gujrat state
